Diversity Icebreaker - 2 Hours

The Diversity Icebreaker (DI) concept was developed in Norway in 1997 by psychologist Bjørn Z Ekelund and his company Human Factors AS®. The tool has been translated into 19 languages and is used by many global and local organisations worldwide. 

A questionnaire identifies the individual's preferences for interaction, communication and problem solving styles. After completion, participants engage in discussion to develop a shared understanding of how to make best use of the diversity within their group, and how later to use this approach in order to improve engagement with others in the workplace. The icebreaker exercise establishes a fun and non-judgmental atmosphere through personal sharing and humorous, interpersonal interactions - an ideal start to any workshop.
